Dear web weavers,
Hello and thank you for letting me in your inbox, it’s an honour and a thrill.
I will be brief, as I only published two articles on teodorapetkova.com in February:
Meaning, text, understanding and two pieces of jazz
The Slow Web Concept Applied to Google Plus
This month, hopefully, I will be having the wonderful semiotician Lucia Trezova (check her brill presentation: The Power of Metaphor in (Brand) Communication) in my Dialogues section. Also, I am working on a text called “The Bliss of Communicating”, with this featured image which I wanted to share with you to brighten up your day:
[If you are not seeing the pic, it’s the wonderful Little Miss Sunshine, you can either click on it – it will open in a new tab, or click “Show images” somewhere in your email or webmail client]

Here’s also a tiny digest of the things that caught my mind and heart from around the web recently:
- How to “Get into Tech” If You’re Not an Obvious Fit (a cool article by Karen Wickre about her time working at Google & Twitter, where, as you will see, not everyone is a college grad software engineer)
- New Clues (a cool new version of the Cluetrain Manifesto. Just a small teaser: a. The Internet is us, connected 5 From us and from what we have built on it does the Internet derive all its value.)
- Chronotext (a cool project, I very much like to call Living texts, as it is “a growing collection of software experiments exploring the relation between text, space and time”)
That’s it for now. Hope to see you on my pages this month too!
Have a wonderful start of the week, stay true and weave on.
:)
Yours,
Teodora
